A night where you get to celebrate all your achievements and forget about all the misery's that entailed and enter the new year to start a fresh. And what better way to celebrate than with a brand new outfit and an alcoholic beverage in one hand. Check out my top picks for this NYE.

NIcole Richie's wedding dress

The official photo's of the Richie and Madden and Wedding have finally been released and I have to say Richie looked absolutely gorgeous! I knew she wouldn't fail on this department!

Nicole Richie wore an Ivory lace and crystal Marchesa gown (the first of three) which was inspired by Grace's Kelly's wedding dress when she married the Prince of Monaco in 1956. The skirt was made from more than 90 meters of silk organza that was so huge she couldn't sit down! And the finishing touch is both their names embroidered on Richie's lace sleeves!

The Glam bam Kardashian Christmas card 2010

Christmas cards were never a big deal to me, nor have I ever had a family Christmas card ever made! The royalty of reality T.V - The Kardashians have set the standards for the cover of any Christmas card this year though with no knitted classic 'Christmas sweaters'. Shot by photographer Nick Samglambeni and styled by Monica Rose the family is looking all glam bam in their dramatic designer outfits.

I am definitely loving Khloe's Coral pink Monique Lhuillier gown matched with a Heather Belle bracelet, whilst Kim opted for a white maxi body con Emilio Pucci dress with vintage earrings. Kourtney ditches the dress and matches with her family in an Alexander McQueen tuxedo, Dolce & Gabanna leopard shirt, black Christian Louboutin shoes and vintage earrings.

As for the rest of the family...we see Kylie in a black/nude strapless gown by Lee Klabin from PRB studio, necklace and bracelet from Vera Wang and Sermoneta gloves. Kendall in Solani, Nicholson black cropped jacket, Christian Louboutin heels and vintage earrings. Rob in Ermenegildo Zegna and Bruce in Armani and last but not least and the glue of the family, Kris Jenner who wears a Pamella Roland gown and vintage earrings.

Oh and how could I forget, baby Mason! Featured in his first Christmas card sporting a custom made Astor & Black suit, Ralph Lauren shirt and Pucci pocket square with Ralph Lauren shoes. I like, I love!

Need a hand?

Spooky yet stylish the Delfina Delettrez hand belt made out of brass is set to turn your outfit into a definite fashion statement. This belt is fantastical, dark and cheeky that when worn will add a sense of intrigue. The fourth generation Fendi, her jewellery draws inspiration from sources such as anatomy, 16th century Italy, insects and Tim Burton.

Samantha WIlls: Lilac eyes ring

OoOo la la! Everytime I see a piece of artwork/jewellery from Samantha Wills I truly and utterly fall weak to my knees and the lilac eyes ring is no different. Totally and utterly mezmerising, this gold plated ring features a Swarovski encrusted serpent coiled around a large amber crystal with a lilac crystal eye. Wear it with your special LBD and pastel pink peep toe shoes to show you mean style. For $160 I might just make this mine!

These orange ankle wrap sandals with brown heels stand approx. 115mm with a 25mm platform and are handmade featuring an open toe, buckle fastening ankle strap white white stitched seams. It's to die for!

On the cover: Alessandra Ambrosio for Vogue Mexico

Brazilian beauty and Victoria's Secret Angel, Alessandra Ambrosio has graced the cover of Vogue Mexico December 2010 issue.

Photographed by Stewart Shining and styled by Sarah Gore-Reeves, we see the model decked out in several different outfits in bold prints and different outfits in this gorgeous seductive editorial. No wonder this model ain't going anywhere!

I like I love!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Tie the knot

It was always a question if they were or if they weren't, but it is finally official. The House of Harlow designer and founder, Nicole Richie and her Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden have finally tied the knot on December 11 after 4 years of dating and having two gorgeous kids. The best man of course was Joel's twin Benji Madden and the Maid of Honour Marsha Gordon who is a close friend while Harlow was the flower girl.

Wedded at Nicole's father's Beverly estate (Lionel Richie) approx 130 guests were present including big time celebs such as Gwen Stefani, Samantha Ronson, Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian Odom just to name a few.

Apparently the duo swapped wedding bands designed by Neil Lane as she walked down the isle in a 1980's turtleneck lace dress to the 1986 hit "Ballerina Girl" sung by Lionel Richie.

I cannot wait to see the official photos of this wedding!

The Victoria's Secret Angels for Dolce and Gabanna Spring '11 ad Campaign

These ladies do their job well - The Victoria's Secret Angels. They look good, got great pins, good posture, the list is endless! No wonder they have the fashion world by storm! Whilst coming across their first shot of the new Dolce & Gabbana Spring 11 ad campagin, Izabel Goulart and Alessandra Ambrosio are looking hot and sweaty under the blazing sun, hair tousled, in white with big earrings thanks to the great photography of Steven Klein. Other Victoria's Secret Angels that are set to be featured are Maryna Linchuk and Isabeli Fontana. It's somewhat of a different take to Madonna being featured in her black and white previous D&G ad campaigns and I say I think she's long forgotten!

On Trend: Maxi Skirts

There have been quite a few celebrities seen with the maxi skirt, from Vanessa hudgens to Kate Bosworth and Rachel Bilson, so there's no question about that I am starting to like the trend. Maxi dresses have been quite predominant for the last few seasons and it was inevitable that the maxi skirt would follow. What I love about most about the maxi skirt is that it can be dressed up or dressed down and is perfect for that warm Summer/Spring day and is a great boho look.
I'm totally loving how Kate Bosworth is rocking her yellow maxi skirt with a grey embellishment crop shirt. Not to dressy and not to casual!

10 Secrets of an ideal wardrobe

I've always dreamed of the perfect wardrobe and Carrie's in Sex and the City is a worthwhile investment. Whilst I was browsing the net, I found this interesting article on secrets of an ideal wardrobe. Every woman must read!!

Every girl has felt that fantastic rush of adrenalin when you see something really cute and stylish in the shop. What do you do in such a situation? Fetch the piece and hurry to the changing room, and then, after you fall in love with it even stronger your brain stops working and you can barely estimate the real practical value of the piece for your wardrobe. In the result your closet is bloated but you still have nothing to wear. You get your wallet and a handbag and go shopping again. Full circle. Want to avoid that? Read these simple but useful secrets of an ideal wardrobe.

1. The higher the heels the better! It is common truth that high heels make legs look longer and more slender. But you might not be aware of one more fact – heels give you diversity. It means high heels can suit anything from formal suit to casual denim outfit. The rule is: the higher the heel the easier you can adapt it to the occasion. Average-height and kitten heels are stable and comfy, but they aren’t as versatile. Spike heels are the best but if you can’t walk well in those opt for high chunky heels of an unusual shape.

2. Size and fit are important All your clothes should be right of your size and fit perfectly. If they don’t you feel awkward and look bad. Besides, pay attention to the balance of your figure and proportions. For example, ideal top length is just below your belt. Short jacket looks great with jeans, shirt or t-shirt. Cropped pants should finish at the widest part of your ankle and will look good with high heels, flats or ankle boots.

3. Classic rocks! Instead of fully renewing the wardrobe every season you can invest into classic pieces that will always be in fashion. They will be the basis of your wardrobe which you can dilute using bright details. Classic pieces worth investing into: - Trench coat - Leather jacket - Little black dress - Jacket in Chanel style - Neutral colored shirts and t-shirts

4. Play with color! It’s elusive to think that if you fill up your closet with pieces of total black color you’ll have versatile wardrobe. You need color to splash to avoid looking like you’re at the office all the time. There are a couple of ways you can change your style using colors. For instance, a bright t-shirt seen from a V-sweater or a cardigan, loud accessories with a classic suit or a simple dress – will look appropriate both at work and at the party.

5. Invest into basic things first. Have you ever planned your look around a brooch or a scarf? I have, and I was wrong. It’s always effective to buy expensive and basic items first: a coat, dress, suit, etc. When you have those already start looking for less significant items like accessories or small details.

6. Find a perfect-fitting pair of jeans I will be right to say jeans are the basic item for lots of people. So, it’s essential to focus on the good pair. Make sure your jeans finish just 5mm over the bottom of the heel.

7. Be careful with vintage clothes. Vintage outfit will turn you into the queen of the night or the girl who has no taste in clothing. When you look for vintage items at sales and flea markets take a few rules into consideration: the older the piece the more different the size measurement and proportions are. So, you need to try everything. Second, make sure there are no dirty spots on the item because you’ll hardly be able to get rid of them. Instead of looking chic you can end up looking scruffy.

8. Make your imagination fly. If you have an item that you like very much but it just doesn’t fit in your look don’t hurry to put it away. Think for a minute and make necessary corrections. Experiment with belts because they can change the silhouette. Don’t forget about brooches, scarves, kerchiefs and other stuff. Buy transformer things, look at street style of other people, and runway looks. The livelier your wardrobe is the better.

9. Don’t make fuss. Researchers have proved that we decide on buying a piece within three first seconds from the moment we see it. It’s too little. So, don’t make fuss and take your time to understand whether you really need it or not.

10. Break rules! I know I’ve just listed the rules you should follow when creating looks. But rules can be broken sometimes. For example, if your shoes match your bag which matches your gloves which c your scarf you’ll look good but too traditional. Make an accent on something that will show your inventiveness. Black dress with bright shoes is a perfect decision but adding just another bright detail is too predictable. Black with red is beautiful but black with silver is more unexpected.

Blake Lively for Chanel

It comes to no surprise that Blake Lively is set to be the new face of Chanel. Karl Lagerfield and the Gossip Girl star have become quite good friends over the last couple of years so why not offer Blake the honorary position within the company! The new ad campaign is set to be released early next year. Congrats Miss Lively!

Mouse for Gucci ^_^

I don't like mice, but when I saw this Gucci mauve and off-white leather and canvas mouse purse it made me like mice just a tad more! It is an ever so stylish way to carry those loose change and as close to a mouse as I will get too!

It features gold-plated stud detailing, a designer-stamped plaque interior, a zip fastening across the top with a long-length zip pull and is fully lined in mauve twill. This little cute thing belongs in your designer bag or for your ever so fashionable friend. Great as a stocking filler!

I like, I love: Christian Louboutin

Need I say more? I think these Christian Louboutin Plisseta 140 satin slingbacks featured down below is the perfect concoction of modern and classic styling. Standing at approximately 5.5 inches and made out of black satin, it features the signature red sole, but the twisted blue heel caught my eye!

Team these heels up with a mini skirt and layer it over with a loose tank for a modern day ultra chic look.

I like, I love!

SJP for Elle

My love for Sarah Jessica Parker began when I discovered the series of Sex & the City, and as every girl or should I say woman, will have these as a must in her DVD collection. Playing the role of Carrie with her ever so famous gal pals - Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda, they have set pretty much the highest level of the fashion world out there. For years we have looked up to these women to set the standard of what we wear today, so naturally when I saw SJP on the cover ofElle, I ever so highly praise her.

SJP is of course as beautiful as I re-call and even though she is ageing she still manages to take my breathe away! SJP features in Elle in the January 2011 issue she is naturally wearing a Halston heritage dress as she is the President and Chief creative officer at Halston and she takes it very seriously, as she states ‘Please know this now: I will never do this for a title. I will never dip in and out of this. I’ll do it like everything else I’ve ever done. I’ll be involved down to the splitting of the atom.’
