Westfield Sydney: My review

Ok, so all you know (well most!) that last night I went to check out the new Westfield Sydney and although I haven't received much good feedback on everyone I actually enjoyed my shopping experience there. Having finished stage 1, I was quite impressed - marble floors, black ceilings and the oh so many designer shops there! I did spend a whole 4 hours or so checking out the whole thing and getting use to where everything is.

The first shop I went to, was of course GAP. This American company has finally made its way down to the Southern hemisphere (About bloody time!) bringing there 'born to fit' jeans and casual clothing, the prices were decent but I still do believe that the states sell it for much cheaper. I am a big fan of their blazer's and all the types of layering you could do with their clothes was great. GAP was quite busy, I kept getting bumped and the line to purchase your items was a bit of a wait. I ended up buying just a white tank top and a great layering vest and no more because I just had to get out of there. After my purchases, I checked out what GAP had for the kids and they are oh so uber gorgeous! So for all those parents out there go style your kids up with some baby GAP! The only other downfall is that their collection is quite opposite to ours, what they have selling there at the moment is more of their fall/winter collection, but that's to be expected.

Off to Mulberry did I go! Great bags for this season, I do have my eye on the Alexa bag, quite a small store but did it make a statement with that massive purple glitter tiger there. Gucci greeted me with a smile, they opened the door - need I say more?! DVF had quite a lovely collection and the staff were great too.

As I was on my way trying to find the Sass & Bide store I saw it, the red ribbon, the signature writing, the red sole, yes it is, we will be finally be getting a, wait for it...a Christian Louboutin store right here in the heart of Sydney, this is one store to look out for! We are also getting Miu Miu, Prada, Armani Exchange etc etc. So eventually I did find the Sass & Bide store. I received great customer service by each and everyone of those ladies. I got served from a lady named Gaia (that's what it said on the receipt but not quite sure if that was her name!) and she helped me from top to bottom, she gave me so many options I wanted them all and she did provide me with such great input that I ended up scoring an awesome outfit! Thank you Sass & Bide, you ladies were tops!

I Liked the products at Zimmerman too, with all their floral summer prints and flowy dresses, these designers know great style. There is so much to choose from! I bought this gorgeous flowy floral shirt which is great for layering - I'm such a fan of layering hence why I've said it so many times here.

It was up to Level 5 - the food court. Although quite small, they provide restaurant quality food for a fraction of the price. I wanted to try Charlie and Co (I think that's what it's called) because their burgers looked awesome but the line was again super long so we tried that mexican place Guzman or something and that was quite good - good service and super quick food! And oh that gelato place...So many flavours i was getting a headache trying to choose, so i took the safest option the Cookies and cream whilst my boyfriend opted for the Belgium white chocolate.

Overall i did enjoy my time at Westfield, despite what other people say, I can't wait till the second stage is complete!

Spotted: Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole spotted whilst leaving the BBC studio's in London on October 21, 2010. I think this look compliments her sense of style and I quite dig it! Here's the breakdown of her look:

Pants: The Sateen Leggings in Taupe by J Brand I think are a fab buy. Taupe plays a major player in fall's palette and literally go with everything.

Boots: The James Moxy Platform Bootie by Elizabeth and James. I can never get enough of these stylish Olsen twins and these booties are the perfect match with her Taupe leggings

Jacket: This leather Mulberry jacket just brings out the taupe leggings and breaks even the colour of her whole look.

Sunnies: And to top of her cool clad look we add a bit of John Galliano's 08 01B make up sunglasses!

Overall I like, I love your look Miss Cheryl Cole!

Burberry for children

Isn't this just fab! Burberry have created a new children's wear that entail wearing gorgeous bright garments such as Vests, coats, purses and umbrellas just to name a few from the Burberry Children Winter 2010 Ad campaign. Athough Burberry usually stick to their well known prints and tones for adults, they have definitely stepped up their game opting for a colourful and eye-catching palette. I like, I love!

Peep toe: Special promotion

Attention shoe addicts! PeepToe are also opening at Westfield Sydney tomorrow, and are having a special promotion - Be the first of 200 to make a purchase on Thursday and you will receive a complimentary gift bag filled with luxury treats! Another reason to buy a new pair of shoes!

Mulberry to open at Westfield Sydney

The new Westfield Sydney officially opens tomorrow (28/10/10) and I'm already having palpatations thinking about it! With high end stores such as Zimmerman, Armani and of course the London label, Mulberry, why not go crazy?! This means I, or should I say 'we', are more closer than ever to getting that Alexa or Bayswater or Hayden bag (Just to name a few) that everyone has been drooling over without the ridiculous 'waiting for the mail to arrive' moment. Mulberry creative director, Emma Hill, says "We are thrilled to be extending Mulberry's international reach to Australia. The culture and beauty of Sydney suits Mulberry's optimistic and playful aesthetic.". With that being said - Mulberry here I come!!

I like, I love!

I am genuwinely crushing this divine clutch/shoulder bag from Bvlgari. British designer, Matthew Willamson who is best known for his exuberant knowledge on bright and modern prints has joined forces with the very expensive Italian fashion house, Bvlgari and created the new Matthew Williamson for Bvlgari Spring 2011 handbag collection. From the modern day metallic-finish and the embossed leather, I love the geometric pattern and the versatility of this bag - shoulder bag by day and clutch by night, plus it comes in uber cool colours. It's a win-win situation. I like, I love!

Oh the poor squirrel!!

I look at this bag and know that it would be in any high end winter fashion wardrobe. This bag, designed by Roberto Cavalli 'features an elaborate embroidered and decadent trim in Squirrel' as stated in net-a-porter. Yes it is made out of real squirrel!!! The black and gold brocade shoulder bag with a sophisticated braided strap is all but high glam, but I can't bring myself to like and love it the way I want too, but I think I'm the only one who feels this way as it sold out on net-a-porter.com. I think PETA would have a fret!

For MNG: Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson, the new face for the European brand MNG, spotted here at the Mango Fashion Award's held in Barcelona, Spain on October 20, 2010. High on the neckline and cinched at the waist, Johansson frocking a MNG black mini dress and new cropped hair do, ski high hells with a gold statement piece necklace, this look gives the classic LBD a cutsey feel to it. I like, I love!

Fab mag: Racheal McAdams

One of my favourite actresses, Rachel McAdams is featured in Instyle's November 2010 issue. Posing in several ensembles and sporting a blonde 'up do', McAdams looks elegant and classy.

Fab Mag: Lindsay Lohan

With all the drama happening around Lindsay Lohan - being in and out of jail and treatment centre's, Lilo has graced the covers of Russian magazine 'Tatler' in their November 2010 issue. Basking in the sun and frocking a 50's hair do, Lilo looks absolutely gorgeous!

Diamond's are a girls best friend

Spotted, Victoria's Secret beauty, Adriana Lima in NYC on Wednesday October 20 revealing the Bombshell Fantasy bra designed by Damiani exclusively for Victoria's Secret situated at The Victoria's Secret Shop in Herald Square.

Classic, elegant and one heck of a price, this undergarment features "clusters of white diamonds, topaz and sapphires with bedazzled straps atop a blushy gauze push-up bra" states to People reports.

It is reportedly made out 142 carats of jewellery comprised of 60 carats of white diamonds and 82 carats of topazes and sapphires equating to the price of $2 million, who said diamonds weren't a girls bestfriend!

Model moment: Miranda Kerr

We can't seem to get enough of our own Miranda Kerr and even when she's in the middle of her first pregnancy she still continues to do her thing. Kerr, baring all for the V2 shoot with Russell James before her baby bump arrives, show's off those pins and more! These pics are set to appear in the upcoming V2 book, but watch out, these pics bare more than they should!

Spotted

Spotted, Rose McGowan and Nicole Richie and among other famous celebs have gathered at the 2010 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists Celebration at the Chateau Marmont. Richie, frocking a Missoni Resort 2011 maxi dress and a brand new do completely suit her to the tee. I love the mix of vertical lines and tie dye effect making her more elongated. Her dark plummy lips are this Fall's must have colour. As for the new hair do...I'll leave that up to you!

It's a bag thing

Seen on the likes of Rhianna, this Alexander Wang Black Darcy Leather hobo bag is a fav amongst the celebrities. Featuring a main pocket with hidden magnetic closure, single shoulder strap, 5 rows of vintage gold ridged rivets underneath and interior zip pocket, this bag is your ticket to instant cool-girl status, so carry it to complete all your downtown looks! I like, I love!!

Lanvin for H&M

Lanvin for H&M's ad campaign has yet to be released, but one picture got away! Natasha Poly who is confirmed and is spotted here in the campaign and teaser trailer. We think it possibly shows Sigrid Agren and Tati Cotliar along with another lady. The collection will hit stores on November 23rd, but this is a campaign worth waiting for!!

Spotted

Jimmy Choo and British boot label Hunter, have teamed up to create these luxurious croc-emobossed rubber gumboots. It retails for roughly $395 and is seen here on Mary-Kate Olsen. These boots would be perfect for the festival season! I like, I love!

Spotted

Spotted, Rachel Bilson arriving at the studio in Hollywood on October 15, 2010 with a fantastic ensemble! I love the boyfriend jeans paired up with Phillip Lim's Bowery Calf hair bootie and khaki KAIN label pocket tee, along with the accessories i.e the Chanel shopping tote (which I am totally loving), leopard print two tone scarf and the Ray-Ban Wayfarer complete this casual oh so chic look! Love your look Rachel!

It's a bag thing

The mini bag have become a big part of our everyday fashionable lives, and every fashionable woman will definitely have one in their closet, for a good reason - They are just so comfortable to wear for long periods of time without breaking your shoulders and there a modern alternative to wearing the clutch. With that said, I am totally crushing this Twee mini python bag by French designer Jerome Dreyfuss.
Made out of real python as the name suggests, this bag will turn heads with it's exotic feel without maxing out your credit card!

The material girl

Featured in Italian's edition of Vanity fair, Dolce and Gabbanna have chosen Madonna to appear in their new Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign. The inspiration did you say? Italian Neorealism cinema, which encapsulates the domesticated Madonna getting down and cleaning whilst wearing black lingeire!
I guess Madonna, now 52, still retains her material girl image!

I heart Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie has 4 of my favourite styles right here - winged eyeliner, messy top hair bun and a fringe with nude lippie. I like, I love!

I heart Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie, what can I say?! This is one of my favourite pics of her

I like

I've always been half half on the denim on denim trend, but I have to say, when I saw this picture of Alexa Chung here at the House of Holland show held at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in Victoria House in London, my perception of the trend suddenly changed!
Spotted with a classic boyfriend light chambray shirt and dark jeggings (jeans that are skinny jeans) with a touch of pink on the shoes, Alexa wore this look beautifully!

To wear, or not to wear, that is the question...

Who would of thought, that just by typing 'Crazy shoes' into the google search engine, I would come up with these pictures. I love how you can store your own gameboy into your wedges! Not that I would wear them! Would you?
