The Perfect find

As I walked into Prada with one of my girlfriends the other day, little did I know I would come out with the Prada Saffiano Lux tote. Initially I was on the hunt for these particular black Prada shoes that I saw on the online store but of course there was none left in my size =( I was quite heartbroken as I was set on buying these shoes. I had another look at the other shoes but nothing was tickling my fancy and like a spotlight on this particular bag I ran straight for it (literally!) I wore it over my arm whilst wearing my J Brand jeans, sass & bide top, Winter Kate Cardy and Tory Burch ballet flats in front of the mirror. I showed my girlfriend who immediately fell in love with it also, so I figured, 'why not I deserve it' and it's my birthday in a couple of days and so the rest is history!

In my opinion the Saffiano Lux tote in Nero a.k.a black is one of my best buys yet - classic, simple, elegant and best yet, will never be outdated. Fixed with its straight and clean edges this bag is another option to the Hermes' Birken who I for one cannot afford such a bag! Made out of calfskin leather I can smell the leather on this bag from like 3 metres away!

Westfield Sydney: My review

Ok, so all you know (well most!) that last night I went to check out the new Westfield Sydney and although I haven't received much good feedback on everyone I actually enjoyed my shopping experience there. Having finished stage 1, I was quite impressed - marble floors, black ceilings and the oh so many designer shops there! I did spend a whole 4 hours or so checking out the whole thing and getting use to where everything is.

The first shop I went to, was of course GAP. This American company has finally made its way down to the Southern hemisphere (About bloody time!) bringing there 'born to fit' jeans and casual clothing, the prices were decent but I still do believe that the states sell it for much cheaper. I am a big fan of their blazer's and all the types of layering you could do with their clothes was great. GAP was quite busy, I kept getting bumped and the line to purchase your items was a bit of a wait. I ended up buying just a white tank top and a great layering vest and no more because I just had to get out of there. After my purchases, I checked out what GAP had for the kids and they are oh so uber gorgeous! So for all those parents out there go style your kids up with some baby GAP! The only other downfall is that their collection is quite opposite to ours, what they have selling there at the moment is more of their fall/winter collection, but that's to be expected.

Off to Mulberry did I go! Great bags for this season, I do have my eye on the Alexa bag, quite a small store but did it make a statement with that massive purple glitter tiger there. Gucci greeted me with a smile, they opened the door - need I say more?! DVF had quite a lovely collection and the staff were great too.

As I was on my way trying to find the Sass & Bide store I saw it, the red ribbon, the signature writing, the red sole, yes it is, we will be finally be getting a, wait for it...a Christian Louboutin store right here in the heart of Sydney, this is one store to look out for! We are also getting Miu Miu, Prada, Armani Exchange etc etc. So eventually I did find the Sass & Bide store. I received great customer service by each and everyone of those ladies. I got served from a lady named Gaia (that's what it said on the receipt but not quite sure if that was her name!) and she helped me from top to bottom, she gave me so many options I wanted them all and she did provide me with such great input that I ended up scoring an awesome outfit! Thank you Sass & Bide, you ladies were tops!

I Liked the products at Zimmerman too, with all their floral summer prints and flowy dresses, these designers know great style. There is so much to choose from! I bought this gorgeous flowy floral shirt which is great for layering - I'm such a fan of layering hence why I've said it so many times here.

It was up to Level 5 - the food court. Although quite small, they provide restaurant quality food for a fraction of the price. I wanted to try Charlie and Co (I think that's what it's called) because their burgers looked awesome but the line was again super long so we tried that mexican place Guzman or something and that was quite good - good service and super quick food! And oh that gelato place...So many flavours i was getting a headache trying to choose, so i took the safest option the Cookies and cream whilst my boyfriend opted for the Belgium white chocolate.

Overall i did enjoy my time at Westfield, despite what other people say, I can't wait till the second stage is complete!
