Blake Lively and Chanel

Karl Lagerfield's sweet obsession with rising star Blake Lively has led her to become the new face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbags. Photographed by none other than Mr Lagerfield himself, the campaign was shot recently at Chanel's venerable Rue Cambon headquarters and is set to be released in mid March this year. Lively will join the fellow actresses before her such as Diane Kruger and Anna Mouglali and she states in Vogue, "A dream come true is an understatement, I can say that I feel like the happiest, luckiest girl around."

I cannot wait for the pictures to arrive!

Blake Lively for Chanel

It comes to no surprise that Blake Lively is set to be the new face of Chanel. Karl Lagerfield and the Gossip Girl star have become quite good friends over the last couple of years so why not offer Blake the honorary position within the company! The new ad campaign is set to be released early next year. Congrats Miss Lively!

PFW: Chanel RTW Spring 2011

Karl Lagerfield for Chanel has graced the stage at Paris fashion week. It was magnificent, it was modern, it was classy! We see the signature tweed style jackets and shirts with a modern and classic feel. The palette was black and white with the use of pastels, metallics, and unfinished edges.

Could there be a Chanel Junior? I love how the model and the little one are matching with the classic tweed and the denim on denim trend. Hope when I have kids, they'll be that fashionable!

Spring 2011 RTW: Fendi

One of the world's most famous and influential designers - Karl Lagerfield has delicately provided Fendi with their Spring 2011 collection. This collection is not skin tight but gorgeous, flowy and lady-like. Channelling a 70's theme we see a gorgeous palette of Peach, berry, teal, powder blue and venetian red with loose lantern sleeves, soft tops, cinched waistlines, and loose cropped trousers, just to name a few.

Tops and dresses accentuate the collar bone with colourful leather belts and geometric and floral prints are prominent throughout the collection.

No doubt this line is fresh and feminine.
